Corpus Christi Man Killed In San Antonio Collision

According to reports from KIII News, an accident involving two trucks in a head-on collision resulted in the death of one of the drivers. The accident occurred last Wednesday on Loop 1604 in San Antonio.

Further Details on the Tragic Accident

The cause of the accident was a tire blowout from a truck traveling in the southbound lane. The driver lost control of the vehicle and went into oncoming traffic, slamming head-on into an unsuspecting truck in the northbound lane.

The driver of the northbound truck was later identified as Leroy Salazar, 40, of Corpus Christi. He died at the scene of the accident.

According to San Antonio Express-News, the driver and passenger of the other truck were not injured. Police do not believe drugs or alcohol to have played any role in this unfortunate accident.
