Corpus Christi Squad Car Strikes Pedestrian

According to KIII-TV, a Corpus Christi police car struck a pedestrian on Monday, June 22.

About the Pedestrian Accident

According to the Corpus Christi Police Department, Officer Raymond Hullum was driving on Leopard Street late Monday night when he struck a pedestrian. Hullum has been a member of the Corpus Christi police force for 20 years.

The officer’s dash cam footage shows a 40-year-old black male crossing Leopard Street in a dimly lit area with no crosswalk in sight. The injured pedestrian was taken to Christus Spohn Memorial Hospital. The man’s name has not been released.
