Crash Involving Aldine ISD Bus Kills One, Injures One

A fatal crash has occurred involving an Aldine ISD and a school bus in north Houston. As a result of the wreck, a man has been killed.

About the Fatal Houston Bus Crash

ABC13 News report that a man driving a blue pickup truck and a woman in a red SUV were both heading in a westbound direction on FM 1960. At one juncture, the man hit the SUV, lost control of his vehicle and then smashed into the bus, which was heading in the opposite direction towards Nimitz High School.

As a result of the collision, the man’s truck split in half, sending the front half flying into a nearby ditch. Meanwhile, the cab of the truck was left in the roadway.

Following the incident, Life Flight took the pickup driver to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The woman was taken to the hospital by ambulance, ABC13 News are reporting that the current state of her condition is unknown.
