CTA Bus Accident Injures 4, Including 3 Children

A Chicago Transit Authority bus hit four pedestrians, including three children, on the city’s North side on Monday morning. Authorities are investigating the bus accident.

About the Bus Accident

The bus heading northbound in the 3600 block of North Halsted in the Lakeview neighborhood hit a woman, a 6-year-old child, a 2-year-old child, and an 8-week-old baby, police said.

According to NBC Chicago News, all four children were taken to Lurie Children’s Hospital in a stable condition. As a result, No.8 Halsted buses were temporarily rerouted in the area. This is a developing story and more details of the incident are yet to come.

Authorities are continuing their investigation.
