Three Dallas teenagers were critically injured on Thursday in a collision with a tractor-trailer. The semi did not stop following the collision.

About the Oak Cliff Trucking Accident

According to KHOU, the high school students were in two cars on their way to a graduation rehearsal when the crash occurred in Oak Cliff.

Although the incident is still unclear, it is believed that one of the cars was speeding up to pass a semi-truck, which resulted in the car clipping the curb and then hitting the semi-truck.

Witnesses state that the semi-truck never slowed down in speed though, making it unclear if the semi-driver was ever aware of the accident. Although the semi-truck left the accident, witnesses ran to the teenagers’ aid.

It is reported that the students were critically injured. The teens were taken to the hospital, where the school’s principal along with the victims’ families were waiting.
