One man was killed in a tractor accident in Dansville.

Details about the Fatal Tractor Accident

The Lansing State Journal is reporting that a man from DeWitt was killed on Sunday evening in an accident involving a tractor in the Dansville area, according to police.

Investigators working the accident have stated that they believe that 48-year-old Robert Mcanallen was on a tractor and was trying to free a second tractor that got stuck when he fell and was run over. Mcanallen was working by himself at a friend’s home on the 1200 block of East Dexter Trail in Ingham Township when the accident happened. There were no witnesses, according to the Ingham County Sheriff’s Office.

The accident reportedly happened at about 8 p.m., although it was unclear whether Mcanallen was landscaping or doing some other type of work when he was killed. No foul play is suspected to have been involved in the accident.
