Daycare Provider Not Facing Jail Time
According to ABC WDAY 6, a Fargo daycare provider will not receive jail time for hitting a baby.
Details about the Daycare Child Abuse Incident
Kelly Topp plead guilty to charges of misdemeanor deprivation of a minor after striking a baby under her care in Fargo. Topp said she struck the child after the baby cried all day. She hit the child hard enough to leave a bruise. The parents of the child reported the police.
She has been sentenced to community service and two years of probation. During that time she will not be allowed to provide child care.
