The Houston Chronicle has reported that Dalia Alfaro, 18, faces charges for murder and intoxicated manslaughter in relation to a car crash she caused while allegedly running from police.

About The Houston Accident

  • The Houston Police Department said that an officer attempted to pull over Alfaro when she was seen speeding.
  • According to the officer, Alfaro did not pull over when he turned on his lights.
  • She continued to travel along Westheimer before speeding through a red light at the intersection of Eldridge Parkway.
  • Upon attempting to cross the intersection, Alfaro collided with a green Mazda then hit a grey Impala, killing the 27-year-old driver.

Charges Against Houston Driver

Dalia Alfaro was charged with murder and intoxicated manslaughter.

A Houston Police Department spokesperson said Alfaro appeared to be impaired after the accident, and a blood test will be taken to determine if she was intoxicated.
