Driver of Small Car Injured After Collision with Dump Truck

The driver of a car was seriously injured on Thursday after the car he was driving crashed into a dump truck in Arlington, Washington.

Details about the Accident Involving the Dump Truck

Police and emergency crews responded to the scene on 188th Street NE near 67th Avenue NE at about 10:45 a.m. Thursday after receiving reports of a serious accident, according to KOMO News in Arlington.

Police found that a car was jammed beneath the trailer arm of a dump truck, and a preliminary investigation found that the driver of the car had smashed into the trailer arm of the dump truck as it was pulling out onto 188th Street. The force of the collision caused the front end of the car to cave in.

The driver of the car sustained non-life threatening but serious injuries. No further information on the identity of the driver or his current condition was immediately available.
