DUI Accident Kills One, Injures Three in San Antonio

One man was killed in a potential DUI accident that happened in San Antonio.

Details about the Fatal DUI Accident

NEWS 4 San Antonio is reporting that a man was killed in a fatal accident that happened on Monday morning on the south side of the city. According to investigators working the accident, a woman plowed directly into another vehicle on Southwest Military and Norma Street on Monday morning at about 2 a.m.

Police have further stated that the woman reportedly ran the red light and slammed into another vehicle who had the green light.

A man in his 20s was operating the other vehicle and was killed at the scene of the accident. The passenger in his vehicle was taken to the San Antonio Military Medical Center in critical condition. Investigators stated that the woman was driving drunk and that they found an open container of alcohol in her vehicle.

A six-year-old boy was a passenger in the vehicle with the woman, and they were both transported to University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
