An elderly pedestrian was killed after being involved in an accident that happened on Tuesday.

Details about the Fatal Pedestrian Accident

News 3 Live is reporting that the North Las Vegas police are investigating a fatal pedestrian accident that happened at the intersection of Craig Road and Simmons. The victim has been identified by the Clark County Coroner’s Office as 76-year-old Thomas French.

According to North Las Vegas police, the accident happened at 4:25 p.m. on Tuesday when French was walking in the crosswalk going west on Craig Road when he was hit by a woman driving a pickup truck. The woman was driving north on Simmons when the accident happened.

The man was taken to the hospital in extremely critical condition where he was later pronounced dead. The driver of the truck did stay at the scene and has fully cooperated with police. An investigation into the accident remains ongoing at this time.
