Fabrication Worker Injured in Accident in Columbiana
An accident in Columbiana, Alabama caused the injury of a worker at a fabrication plant on Monday morning.
Details about the Fabrication Plant Accident
According to a release by Grede Fabricating, the company has made the decision to close for the rest of the day after the accident happened this morning inside the facility in the 100 block of Industrial Parkway. Columbiana firefighters responded to the scene of the accident, although, at this point, it is unclear whether or not there was any fire in the building.
Information about the condition of the worker was not made available to the public.
Columbia Middle School, which is close to the fabrication plant, will not be effected and the school has not been dismissed for the day.
The public, however, has been asked to avoid the area if possible.
