Fatal Accident in DeCordova, TX Leaves One Dead

Authorites in DeCordova, Texas are investigating a fatal collision that claimed the life of a local woman.

Details about the Fatal Accident in DeCordova

According to the Hood County News, 53-year-old Ann Lucy Woodworth of DeCordova was pronounced dead at the scene of a two-vehicle accident last Wednesday night.

Police reports say that Woodworth was in a head-on collision on a curve on Fall Creek Highway in the area of Acton and Highway 377. Granbury Chief of Police Alan Hines said that Woodworth’s vehicle crossed over into the center lane and hit a pickup truck being driven by 43-year-old Aly Mohamed who had 49-year-old Be Van Phan as a passenger.

Mohamed was air lifted to Harris Methodist Hospital, and Phan was transported by ground ambulance to John Peter Smith Hospital. Their condition and extent of their injuries is currently unknown.
