Florida Day Care Closed After Child Injury
Christina Garrow, mother of two, claims her one-year-old daughter, Alyssa, was injured at daycare.
About the Abuse Accusation
Garrow said the injury left her infant bleeding and crying.
According to Action News JAX, the mother said “she discovered a bloody gouge on Alyssa's arm on Monday and said she believes it happened at the preschool.”
Christina Garrow added that she immediately knew it happened at the daycare because the blood was so fresh and red.
This latest accusation could force the daycare to close.The accusations are of class one, which are the most serious.
Past Instances Recorded at the Daycare
In the past two years, Starke Daycare has received various claims. The owner of the daycare defends the preschool by indicating it has been opened for 30 years.
Another child said he was hit with a bamboo stick by an employee – the gash the child sufferd required two staples.
Starke Daycare has had several claims of child abuse, lack of training requirements and supervision rules and teacher/student ratio.
