Farren Washington2 years ago

A Ford Mustang collided with a Chapel Hill ISD school bus early Tuesday morning.

Description of Chapel Hill Bus Crash

According to KLTV, the wreck happened at 6:45 a.m. on Smith County Road 24 at Highway 31 East.

The students and the bus driver emerged from the wreck unscathed. The driver of the Mustang was transported to the local hospital with minor injuries. The students were transferred to another bus and arrived at their school safely.

It appears the driver of the car, 24, was not paying attention and rear-ended the bus. The unidentified driver was unlicensed. It is unclear at this time if he will be ticketed.

Foggy conditions in the area did not play a role in the wreck. Traffic was backed up around the scene for two miles in both directions.
