Forklift Operator Killed in Accident

One person died on Tuesday in an accident involving a forklift in Oklahoma on Tuesday.

Details about the Fatal Forklift Accident

Multiple sources are reporting that a man was killed when the forklift he was operating overturned in the northern part of Oklahoma City, according to authorities.

Benny Fulkerson, District Fire Chief indicated that emergency crews were alerted and responded to the scene of the accident at about 11:25 a.m. on Tuesday at ProBuild, where the man was trapped underneath the forklift after it had tipped over when he was driving it up a ramp.

The District Fire Chief also said the other workers pulled the man from underneath the forklift, but that the man died due the extent of his injuries.

ProBuild, the company in which the accident happened, works to provide construction materials for both residential and commercial builders.

The identity of the man has not been made immediately available.
