Four Dead, Four Injured in Van Rollover in Utah

Utah Highway Patrol is trying to piece together information after a deadly van rollover crash on I-70 in Utah just miles from the Colorado state border, according to a Fox News report.

Details of the Fatal Van Accident

Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Todd Royce said the single-vehicle wreck happened on Friday along I-70 in Utah about 30 miles from the border of Colorado. Four people were killed in the crash, and another four people were injured.

Victims were transported to St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction, CO. Injuries range from serious to critical. Authorities are still trying to locate one person who is reported as having fled the scene on foot.

Royce told reporters that human smuggling is suspected. He said none of the victims spoke English and information such as occupants’ ages, where they are from, or who was driving the vehicle is unknown at this time.
