Four people were sent to the hospital after a 13-vehicle accident in San Antonio.

Details about the Multiple-Vehicle Accident in San Antonio

Multiple sources are reporting that authorities in San Antonio have stated that a driver of a red pickup truck drove his vehicle into traffic that was stopped at a red light in the opposite lane at the intersection of Bandera and Eckhert Roads on Sunday afternoon.

Both the San Antonio Police Department and Leon Valley Police Department responded to the scene of the accident at about 2 p.m. A witness of the accident stated that the truck looked “like a bowling ball,” that was hitting car after car.

There were a total of 13 cars and trucks that were hit by the driver, according to the Leon Valley Fire Chief. The majority of the people involved in the accident received treatment at the scene of the accident for minor cuts and bruises.

A total of four people were taken to local hospital to be treated for their injuries, including one woman who was extricated from her vehicle. The driver of the truck was arrested, and charges are pending at this time.
