Details about the Dangerous Accident

KXRO News is reporting that an accident happened near Amanda Park that sent four people to the hospital.

According to the Washington State patrol, a 77-year-old man from Boulder, Colorado was traveling north on Highway 101 just about five miles north of Amanda Park just after 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon in a 2016 Ford Fusion when he attempted to make a U-turn.

The State Patrol further indicated that the Fusion was then T-boned by an 18-year-old woman from Forks, who was also travelling north in a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer.

Both of the drivers as well as both of the passengers in the Fusion were transported to the hospital to be treated for their injuries. According to the State Patrol, the cause of the accident has been determined as having been an unsafe U-turn that was made by the man from Boulder. The man has since been charged with negligent driving.
