KWTX News is reporting that police in Killeen spent the morning on Thursday responding to the scene of an accident that involved a school bus from the Killeen Independent School District and a Didge Nitro SUV.

According to the Killeen Police Department, the bus was on its way to Live Oak Ridge Middle School at the time of the accident that happened at about 7:45 a.m. near the intersection of Robinett Road and Thunder Creek Drive.

The driver of the SUV, the bus driver, an aide, and one child were all taken to a local hospital to be treated for their injuries, which police have said are non-life threatening. There were a total of six people on the bus at the time of the accident.
