Four people were injured in a two-vehicle accident in Dade County.

Details about the Violent Accident in Dade County

CBS Local Miami is reporting that a violent accident that happened in Miami-Dade sent four people to the hospital to be treated for their injuries sustained in the crash.

According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of SW 87th Avenue and 43rd Street on Thursday afternoon.  Due to the accident, a 4-year-old girl and her mother were transported to the hospital via ambulance, as well as three others.

At the time of the accident, the mother and the young girl were in a BMW that was being driven by another woman. The driver of the BMW was the most seriously injured victim. Witnesses say that emergency crews had to curt her out of the vehicle.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, two teens were in the other vehicle, and police say that not only was the teenager driving when he should not have been, but he also did not stop at a stop sign.
