Frozen Corn Recalled for Listeria Contamination

Bonduelle USA Inc. has recalled 9,335 cases of frozen corn due to a potential Listeria contamination.

About the Frozen Corn Recall

According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the corn may have been contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, an organism which can cause serious and even fatal infections in those with weakened immune systems as well as young children and the elderly.

The frozen corn was distributed within the following states: New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Massachusetts, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, Mississippi and Louisiana

Although there have been no reported illnesses in relation to consumption of this corn, customers are urged not to consume this product and to throw it away.
