Girl Raped in Ambulance gets $12.5M
A Michigan jury awarded $12.5 million to a young girl who was raped by an ambulance attendant on the way to the hospital in 2006. The 14-year-old girl was raped repeatedly by an ambulance attendant on a 50-minute ambulance ride between two hospitals. The attendant was convicted of rape and received three and one-half years in prison.
