Hammock Stand Recalled for Fall Hazard
Hayneedle Inc. is recalling a hammock stand it produced, the Shorea Wooden Arc Hammock Stand. The product was sold through www.hammocks.com, throughout June and July of 2012 for about $380.
About the Recall
The product posed a safety hazard in that the components of the stand can come apart, posing a fall hazard. There have been 18 reported incidents, including one injury that required medical attention. It is strongly recommended that the product cease to be used immediately.
