Two people were injured after a police chase ended in a violent crash in Harris County.

Details about the Police Chase Accident

KTRK News is reporting that a high speed police chase in the northeast area of Harris County ended when a suspected carjacker slammed the stolen vehicle into an innocent driver.

Video of the accident showed the stolen pickup truck slamming into a white SUV. The video needed to be blurred when it was shown on television because one of the suspected carjackers can be seen being ejected from the vehicle at the time of the collision.

The police chase began in Pasadena and ended in the Cloverleaf area. Not long before the stolen vehicle made its way into the Cloverleaf neighborhood, the two men inside the truck were accused of an armed robbery in Pasadena.

The chase began after police found the truck using a GPS locator. The chase ended when the stolen truck collided with a car, T-boning it at an intersection. One of the suspects was ejected from the vehicle and the other one ran off.

Police were able to catch and detain the runner. Both of the suspects were then arrested.

The driver of the other vehicle was injured, as was the suspect who was ejected from the vehicle. The condition of the other driver and the injured suspect is not currently known at this time.
