Home Depot Sold 28 Recalled Items After Recall Announcements

According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Home Depot continued to sell more than two dozen recalled products between 2012 and 2015.

About the Home Depot Recalls

Between 2012 and 2015, 28 different products making up roughly 1,300 recalled units that continued to be sold by Home Depot after the announcements.

The company also sent an additional 1,010 recalled items to either salvagers or to recycling where they could have potentially been sold.

Lacerations, burns, shock, falls, fire, and other hazards reported.  

Consumers should immediately stop using items and contact recalling agent for either a refund, replacement, or repair as listed. 

CE Tech 1,000 Ft. Riser Cable
  • Recall Date: April 9, 2013 
  • Original Sale Dates: January 2013 through February 2013 
  • Hazard: The riser cable does not meet fire resistance standards for riser cable, posing a fire hazard.
  • Remedy: Refund
