Hopeanne Wohlers2 years ago

Kingwood Drive was closed for hours Wednesday morning as Houston authorities investigated a fatal collision between a black Cadillac ATS and a gold Monte Carlo.

About the Fatal Two-Vehicle Accident

According to the Humble Observer, the Cadillac’s driver was driving erratically and above the speed limit leading up to the collision.

The Cadillac was weaving in between the two lanes of traffic when it reportedly struck the rear end of the Monte Carlo around 9:30 am.

The Monte Carlo then lost control and spun into the median, hitting several trees. The collision resulted in one fatality.

The 52-year-old woman driving the Monte Carlo was pronounced dead while the passenger, an 8-year-old girl, was transported to Texas Children’s Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

It has not yet known what charges the Cadillac driver will be facing, as the investigation is ongoing.
