Details about the Fatal Pedestrian Accident

The Dallas Morning News is reporting that a pedestrian was hit and killed on Monday evening as he was attempting to cross State Highway 183 in Irving. According to police, firefighters were called to the scene of the accident at about 11 p.m. on Highway 183, near the North MacArthur Boulevard exit.

According to Irving police, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. At this time, the name of the victim has not been released, pending notification and approval of family members. Police have stated that it is possible that as many at ten vehicles may have hit the victim.
