Laredo Teenager Killed in Accident

A student from Alexander High School was killed in a motor vehicle accident in north Laredo.

Details about the Fatal Accident

KGNS News is reporting that a student from Alexander High School in Laredo was killed in an accident on Santa Maria Avenue under the Mines overpass on Sunday evening.

According to police, the teenager was the driver of a car that was engulfed in flames when emergency crews first arrived at the scene of the accident.

The victim was pinned behind the steering wheel while the front end of the vehicle was on fire. The firefighters and other emergency workers were unable to get the victim out of the vehicle before the fire became too intense.

The victim’s name has not been released at this time, but police are currently investigating to figure out what exactly may have been the cause of the accident.
