Little Rock Car Chase Ends in Pedestrian Death

A car chase in Little Rock, Arizona ended tragically last Tuesday when the suspect vehicle stuck a mother and daughter on a city sidewalk.

Details of the Fatal Pedestrian Accident

According to KATV, the incident occurred around 6:50 pm along the 9900 block of Chicot Road.

Local were in pursuit of Jordan Vandenberghe, 24, when Vandenberghe lost control of the SUV that he had stolen, and crashed into the mother and daughter. The victims were identified as Trindia Horton, 39, and Nahtali Horton, 18.

Trindia Horton was pronounced dead at the scene. Nahtali survived and rush transported to an area hospital where she is listed in stable condition.

Vandenberghe is being held on charges of first degree murder, first degree battery, felony theft of property, and felony theft of receiving stolen property.
