Man Charged After Fatal DWI Car Accident

A Monday night car accident in Buda, Texas has left one person dead and a man with an intoxicated manslaughter charge.

Details of the Accident

The crash occurred around 8:00 pm on September 29th, just south of Buda, Texas.

37 year-old Jason Tarr, a Buda realtor, was driving southbound on FM 1626 when he drove into the northbound lane and hit a vehicle, killing the driver, according to KVUE.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene and has been identified as 60 year-old Nancy Sterling-Dalton.

This is not Tarr’s first run in with the law. He has had five driving while intoxicated (DWI) chargers prior to this incident.

Tarr is now facing charges of intoxicated manslaughter and is currently in custody at the Hays County Jail.
