Man Dies After Collision at Nebraska Intersection

A driver of a pickup truck from Morrill, Nebraska was killed at an intersection in the Nebraska panhandle.

About the Fatal Morrill Accident

The San Antonio Express News reports that Joshua Smith, 35, of Morrill, Nebraska was traveling West on County Road B in a 2012 Dodge Ram pickup truck when he collided with Joseph Cline, 20, also of Morrill.

Both drivers approached the uncontrolled intersection of County Road B and County Road 12 at the same time. Cline was traveling North on County Road 12 in a 1996 Cadillac Deville. The impact of the collision pushed both cars into the yard of a nearby residence.

Both Smith and Cline were not wearing seatbelts during the collision, and Smith was ejected from his vehicle. Smith was later pronounced dead at the hospital, while Cline sustained minor injuries.

Authorities are still investigating the accident.
