Officials Working to Identify Body

USA Today reports that the 54-year-old man fell overboard into the Gulf of Mexico Tuesday night. A search and rescue operation was initiated after officials confirmed the fall via surveillance video.

On Wednesday, Mexican authorities announced that they found a body which they believe is the fallen passenger. The body is still in Mexico but will be sent to the U.S. after it is determined to be the passenger.

The cruise ship, Triumph, was returning to Galveston following a five-day cruise. The missing passenger’s name has not been released.
