Jacob Garza was pulled away from his car this last Tuesday after being wedged underneath the trailer of an 18-wheeler. He was then transferred to San Antonio Military Medical Center.

Details of the San Antonio Accident

The 21-year-old was recovered 30 minutes after the crash and had to be cut from the 2006 Dodge Charger he was driving, the San Antonio Express-News reports.

He was in critical condition at the time and suffered from severe internal injuries. Police stated that he also had a large gash on his forehead.

The accident occurred when Garza failed to stop at a red light, remaining at a high rate of speed. He then struck the rear section of the 18-wheeler. It is unknown whether or not he was wearing a seat belt.
