Man Injured in Houston County Drilling Accident
A man was hospitalized Thursday following an accident at a drilling well site in Houston County, Texas.
About the Houston County Accident
According to KTRE, the man was working at a drilling well on the property of Eastham prison when the accident occurred.
Houston County Fire Marshal and Emergency Management Coordinator David Lamb stated the worker suffered chemical burns when he was sprayed with gases after opening a valve at the site.
The man was airlifted to a hospital in Tyler, Texas for treatment. His condition was not immediately available.
