Man Killed by Hit and Run Driver While Changing Tire

One man was killed by a hit and run vehicle while trying to change a tire over the weekend.

Details about the Fatal Accident

Fox News San Antonio is reporting that, according to police, one man was killed when he was attempting to change a tire on the left shoulder of Interstate 35, just south of the downtown area on Saturday afternoon.

The San Antonio Police Department is further stating that the victim was off the roadway and on the shoulder of the interstate when a truck that was pulling a trailer drove onto the shoulder and hit the victim, knocking the man into the lanes of traffic.

The victim’s coworkers worked to pull him out of the roadway, but he died at the scene of the accident. At this time, the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office has not released the name of the victim.
