One man was killed in an accident involving a train and a truck.

Details about the Train-Truck Accident

The Star Press is reporting that one man from Parker City was killed on Friday in an accident in which his pickup truck was hit by a train at the city’s Fulton Street Crossing.

According to police, 65-year-old Terry White was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident which was originally reported at 6:25 a.m. Parker City Marshal Douglas Lankford stated that Wright’s truck was hit by the westbound train when he attempted to cross the crossing arms. The vehicle was dragged under the train about one block west to Main Street.

Wright was a Parker City employee of the street department. Marshal Lankford stated that the truck was the victim’s own personal vehicle and that he was not working or on the job at the time of the accident.
