Man Killed While Pushing Stalled Vehicle off San Antonio Highway

One man was killed in an accident in San Antonio on Sunday evening.

KSAT 12 News is reporting that one man was killed after experiencing car trouble on the highway in San Antonio, according to police. Police say that the accident happened just after 11:30 p.m. on Sunday evening on the westbound lanes of Highway 151 near Westover Hills on the northwest side of the city.

Police further stated that a red Ford Mustang rear-ended a stalled vehicle that was being pushed by a 50-year-old man who was attempting to get the vehicle off the highway.

Police say that the stalled vehicle was hit so hard, it rolled out onto the access road.

The driver who was steering the stalled vehicle was not injured in the accident, and the driver of the red Mustang will not be facing any charges.

An investigation into the causes of the accident remains ongoing at this time.
