Man Sentenced to 13 Years for Fatal Hit-and-Run

According to Reuters, Jaquinn Ramone Bell, 32, was sentenced to more than 13 years in prison for hitting and killing three 13-year-old girls with his car in Santa Ana on Halloween.

Details of the Fatal Accident

Bell had been driving on a suspended license with his two children in the car when he struck the three girls and drove away, without calling for help.

He had abandoned his damaged vehicle and was found in a nearby Motel 6.

The three girls, twins Lexia and Lexandra Perez and their friend, Andrea Gonzales, were all wearing their costumes when they were struck. Their families all asked for the most severe sentence for Bell.
