Man Sentenced to State Prison for Accident that Killed His Father

A Pennsylvania man is being sent to state prison for a DUI accident that killed his father.

Pennsylvania Live is reporting that a 24-year-old man has been sentenced to state prison on Thursday for causing an accident that killed his father.

A Dauphin County Judge sentenced Benjamin Feith to 4-8 years behind bars just three months after Feith pleaded guilty to homicide by vehicle and other charges from the October 2014 DUI accident in the Derry Township that killed his 45-year-old father, Walter Feith.

Feith was also charged with 19 separate counts of possession of child pornography on his cell phone.

Feith has been living with his paternal grandmother since the accident. Feith himself suffered severe injuries in the crash, including brain damage – the extent of the brain damage is still unknown.
