Medicine Cabinets Recalled: Injury Hazard
Bathroom Medicine Cabinets manufactured by RSI are being recalled due to the back panel or mirror of the product separating from the cabinets and falling out, posing an injury hazard to the consumer.
About the Bathroom Medicine Cabinet Recall
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the bathroom medicine cabinets have a faulty back panel and/or mirror. Either one can separate and fall away from the product, thereby potentially injuring the user.
There have been two reports of this occurring thus far.
14,000 of the medicine cabinets were exclusively sold at The Home Depot from August 2013 through October 2013 for between $70-$90.
The CPSC recommends that consumers return the product to The Home Deport for a full refund.
