Metabo Electric Angle Grinders Recalled – Laceration Hazard

Phylicia Taylor2 years ago

The Metabo Corp. has recently recalled approximately 4,300 electric angle grinders due to a laceration hazard.

About the Electric Angle Grinders Recall

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the on/off switch can get stuck in the “On” position, posing a laceration hazard to consumers. Two reports of the angle grinder switches sticking in the “On” position have been received by Metabo; however, no injuries have been reported. CPSC recommends that consumers stop using the recalled electric angle grinders immediately and call Metabo to make arrangements for a free repair or replacement.
