A man from Monroe was killed in a motorcycle accident.

Details about the Fatal Motorcycle Accident

The CT Post is reporting that a motorcyclist from Monroe was killed in an accident involving a Land Rover on Main Street, according to a statement released by local police.

The man, who has been identified as 24-year-old Forrest Ryan, of Monroe, was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle when he crossed over the center line in the middle of the roadway and was hit by a Land Rover, according to the release from the police.

The man was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident and suffered from fatal injuries. Two of the occupants in the Land Rover were taken to St. Vincent’s Medical Center for a medical evaluation but they are expected to be okay.

The street in the area was closed for several hours while police conducted their preliminary investigation, while the crash remains under a full investigation at this time.
