More Products Related to CRF Frozen Vegetables Recalled
Ajinomoto Windsor, Inc. is choosing to recall multiple Not-Ready-To Eat frozen food products in response to the possibility these items may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
About the Frozen Food Recall
According to the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Ajinomoto Windsor is voluntarily recalling frozen food products in compliance with the United States Department of Agriculture, as well as with the United States Food and Drug Administration.
This action is in response to the recent CRF Frozen Food recalls and no other items under Ajinomoto Windsor, Inc. are being impacted by this recall. Ajinomoto Windsor, Inc. is working toward removing the products from stores and distributors.
The FDA advises consumers who have recently purchased these items to dispose of them or return them to the store in which they were purchased.
Description of Recalled Frozen Food Products
The following information was provided by the FDA:
- The frozen food items may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, which are organisms that can cause severe infections in children, the elderly, and other people with weakened immune systems.
- Systems can include fever, headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea.
- There have been no illnesses thus far reported to Ajinomoto Windsor, Inc. for the products that are voluntarily being recalled.
- The products included in the recall were distributed in the United States, Canada and Mexico
