Mother, Children Injured in Corpus Christi Crash

A mother and her three children were rushed to the hospital Tuesday morning following a rush hour accident on Interstate 37 in Corpus Chrsiti, Texas.

About the Corpus Christi Crash

According to KRIST-TV, the family was traveling northbound on Interstate 37 when their PT Cruiser suddenly stopped near McKinzie road.

The vehicle was then struck from behind by a Cadillac Escalade. All three children, ages 6 to 12, were riding in the back seat.

The mother was transported to Spohn Memorial for treatment while her children were taken to Driscoll Children’s Hospital. The diver of the Cadillac was not seriously injured.

Authorities are investigating what caused the PT Cruiser to stop so suddenly.
