Details about the Fatal Motorcycle Accident
The San Antonio Express News is reporting that a motorcyclist was killed after he was weaving through traffic and collided with an 18-wheeler that was attempting to make a turn, according to investigators.
The San Antonio Police Department has stated that the man has been identified as a 32-year-old man. Police have further stated that the motorcyclist was heading south at about 7:42 p.m. on the access road of Interstate 10 just before Colonial Square.
Traffic in the area was stopped as the 18-wheeler was making a wide turn from the access road onto Colonial Square. The motorcyclist failed to stop and collided with the trailer at a high rate of speed.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Several people who saw the accident got out of their vehicles and attempted to help the man.
