Motorcycle Accident Leaves Man in Critical Condition

A man is in critical condition after a motorcycle accident in Bowling Green.

WBKO News is reporting that a motorcycle accident that happened in the early morning hours in Bowling Green left a man in critical condition on Tuesday.

According to the Kentucky State Police, they responded to the scene of the accident that the exit ramp from Interstate 65 south to the Natcher Parkway heading north at around 2:39 a.m. They were told that the accident involved a single-injury vehicle collision.

The investigation into the accident indicated that 39-year-old Thad Franklin was operating a 1999 Harley Davidson motorcycle when he hit a guardrail along the exit ramp. Franklin was then taken from the scene of the accident by the medical Center EMS and then taken to the TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville via helicopter.

Franklin remains in the hospital in critical condition at this time.
