Motorcyclist Fatally Struck by Van in Houston

A motorcyclist was killed on Sunday night when he was involved in a collision with a van in northwest Harris County.

Details of the Fatal Motorcycle Accident

The Houston Chronicle reports that accident occurred around at the 11200 block of Veterans Memorial Drive around 7:50 pm.

Authorities state the motorcyclist was traveling in the southbound lanes of Veterans Memorial Drive when a Chevrolet Venture traveling the opposite direction failed to yield and attempted to make a left turn into a Champion Townhomes driveway.

The motorcyclist crashed into the side of the van, and the motorcyclist was thrown into the minivans side window. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the van said she did not see the motorcyclists.
