Motorcyclist Killed in Speeding Accident
A man from Amarillo died after a motorcycle accident that happened over the weekend.
Details about the Motorcycle Accident
According to Amarillo Police Officers, they were called to the scene of a motorcycle accident at Olson Boulevard and Paramount Street on February 27 at around 10:30 p.m.
According to police, emergency first responders found Leslie Coggins from Amarillo at the scene of the accident. Police has said that it seems as though Coggins lost control of the motorcycle and went off the road and into a nearby fence.
Police believe speed was a factor in the crash and have noted that Coggins was not wearing his helmet at the time of the accident.
The accident remains under investigation and an autopsy has been ordered by the Traffic Investigation Squad of the Amarillo Police Department.
