One person was killed in an accident that happened in Arlington.

Details about the Fatal Arlington Crash

CBS Local DFW is reporting that police have confirmed that one person was killed in an accident that happened in which one person was killed along Interstate 20 heading west before Cooper Street. According to officials, multiple people were involved in the accident on Monday.

A report that has been released from the Arlington police department indicated that the accident happened when an SUV did not have time to avoid a wood pallet on the road and ran over it. Another vehicle, a Hyundai, behind the SUV swerved to avoid the pallet and then hit the center median. That’s when, according to authorities, an18- wheeler hit the Hyundai, killing the male driver. Another white pickup truck was also somehow involved in the accident.

Aside from the driver of the Hyundai who was killed, another person was treated at the scene of the accident. According to Arlington authorities, there is no word at this time as to where the wood pallet came from.
